Hello
My name is Isabel Santis, and I'm on a mission to awaken human consciousness so we can find bold solutions to the greatest challenges of our time.
My Story
Since I was a little girl, I have been deeply connected to and fascinated by nature. In 2002, I attended a talk at the Commonwealth Club given by Lester Brown, who, at the time, was head of the World Watch Institute. As I listened with mounting horror to his talk about water wars and burning forests, I had two major insights:
-
To avoid the catastrophic consequences of climate change, the world as a whole would need to take immediate and corrective action.
-
Corporations and governments had a vested interest in controlling power, maximizing profits, and maintaining the status quo, and were unlikely to allow the social, economic, and political transformation needed to avert disaster to take place.
These realizations launched me into a spiral of hopelessness, depression, and despair. Two things helped me pull out of that: first, I became familiar with the work of Joanna Macy, which asks individuals to actively engage in creating the conditions for desirable outcomes. The second was that I started working intentionally with plant medicines in 2005. This, for me, was a life-changer. Plant medicines gave me a new way to think and view the world, and helped me find strength and resilience that I didn't know I had. Most importantly, they helped me find my way of contributing to systems and consciousness change.
After extensive training, I began facilitating transformative experiences in Guatemala, Jamaica, and Costa Rica, and became a Licensed Facilitator for Natural Medicine Services (LFIT) in Colorado in 2025. My training includes sustainability management, regenerative organizational design, permaculture, ecopsychology, and positive psychology. My academic credentials include a few coaching certifications, an MA in Transformative Leadership, and a PhD in East-West Psychology. My PhD research focused on how people have transformed eco-distress and eco-anxiety into greater equanimity, psychospiritual resilience, and, most importantly, pro-environmental action through intentional work with psychedelics. You can read more about my research here.
Now, I am bringing together my expertise in climate psychology, systems thinking, transformative leadership, and expanded states of consciousness to help individuals and organizations find creative ways to solve the biggest challenges facing societies today. I've put together a team of experienced coaches and expert facilitators and partnered with established retreats in Jamaica and Costa Rica to deliver truly transformative experiences. After I complete my Licensing requirements, we will be able to offer retreats in Colorado to serve those who are unable to travel internationally.
We are excited to leverage the capacity of psychedelics to catalyze systems thinking and new ways of knowing, and apply new insights to make the world a better place for all our kin. Our mission is to support transformative consciousness shifts that empower regenerative change. We envision a world where inner growth fuels outer healing — for people, communities, and Earth alike.
